I have been involved with and been a strong advocate for Solid Edge since its’ introduction to New Zealand in 1996. I started my career with a four year tool draughting apprenticeship (on the boards) and then went on to gain an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since then I have been working as a CAD support engineer in the UK (suuport DOGS, which was an acronym for Drawing Office Graphics System) and New Zealand for both 2D (Microstation) and 3D (SE) products.
